I am Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistics of the Athens University of Economics and Business. I served as Director of Postgraduate Studies form November 2013 to November 2016. I currently serve as the Head of Department since September 2016.

Teaching

 

For the winter semester of 2017/2018 I am teaching GLM to full-time postgraduates and Clinical Trials to part-time postgraduates and Statistics I for first year Economists. More on these courses can be found in the e-class platform (http://eclass.aueb.gr). For the Easter semester, I am going to teach Categorical data to 3rd year undergraduates.

Research interests

 

I am particularly interested into modeling and estimation of longitudinal data. Currently, I deal with composite likelihood methods in the estimation of latent variable models in the context of multivariate longitudinal data. I also have a strong interest into proposals of distributions in RJMC in the context of GLM or GLMM. My other interests include
