The Congress will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece from the 8th to the 12th of May, 2017.

The official language of the congress is English.

 

Expected Participation

The congress will attract approximately 300 renowned experts in the field of biometrics from around the world.

 

Speakers’ Preview Area

The Speakers’ Preview Area operates throughout the whole duration of the congress, at the Foyer of the Conference Floor. Speakers are kindly requested to hand in all material of their presentation (USB-key, CD-Rom, DVDROM) at least one hour before their scheduled presentation time. If the presentation is scheduled early in the morning, speakers are kindly requested to check their presentation at the Speakers’ Preview Area the day before.

The following equipment is available:

• Laptop

• Data video projector

• Laser pointer

All presentations will be submitted to the Speakers’ Preview Area where they will be distributed to the appropriate hall by our technicians. Projector screens and computers will be provided for all sessions; presentations will be preloaded on the computers inside the session hall. You may not use your own laptop. This is strictly enforced, in order to avoid or minimize any technical problem which might arise.

 

Facilities for Persons with Impaired Mobility

 

There is easy access to MET Chandris Hotel for persons with impaired mobility and there are specially designed restrooms on all levels.

  

Climate
May is when the sun truly starts to shine in Thessaloniki. Typically temperature fluctuates around 19 (66,2 ) and there is a light breeze. The range of mean daytime temperatures are around 17 (62,6 ) and 22 (71,6).
