pleased to invite you to the 3rd Meeting on Statistics
which will take place in Athens, Greece, from Wednesday
June 24th to
Friday June 26th, 2015. The meeting will be held at the premises of
Athens University History Museum located in Plaka, the historical centre of Athens. This series of meetings was originally motivated by discussions between the
Greek and Italian Statistical community. Our intention is to
continue the tradition of this series of meetings and extend participation by
inviting friends, collaborators and colleagues from the broader statistical
The first day of the conference (24th of June) will be dedicated to Bayesian
variable and model selection including special sessions on prior specification
and marginal likelihood estimation.
Other topics of interest include:
graphical models, categorical data
analysis, financial modeling, latent
variable models, longitudinal data, MCMC methods, marginal models, non-parametric statistics,
time-series analysis and biostatistics.
early registration fee is 100€
for academics and non-academics and 50€ for students,
